According to the LMD-UL commission, the LMD system presents several advantages for the learner

completely independent in the choice of their training course.

The Capitalization of Teaching Units:

Capitalization is an educational principle which consists of recognizing the student’s lifelong possession of a teaching unit that he or she has validated. This means that the validation is final. The student capitalizes the validated UE unless it is an upgrade or non-credited support training UE.

Flexibility

It allows the learner to choose the teaching units best suited to their profile and objectives. He no longer locks himself into a discipline or a department.

Transferability:

With transferability, we introduce the consideration of the validation of EU acquired during studies carried out outside the original establishment. In this case, the learner benefits from the corresponding credits.
