The field of Letters, Languages and Arts (LLA) develops training relating to the privileged means of expression which is language in its communication functions represented by the various languages, and in its aesthetic functions – Letters, these functions not being able to be conceived without the cultural context in which they develop. In the same perspective, the LLA domain takes care of what concerns the means of artistic expression. For the moment, the area does not offer an Arts course. On the other hand, EUs are offered off-course. Students can thus take them in free courses.
In the Literature and Languages sector, the LLA department offers seven (7) academic pathways in the following five areas:
Licences
The LLA department of the University of Lomé offers eight (8) bachelor’s degrees in the literature and languages sector.
Masters
The LLA department of the University of Lomé also offers six (6) Masters degrees.
