Are you foreigners or Togolese with a diploma obtained abroad? After being admitted to an establishment, you must undergo certification and accreditation of your diploma by a competent authority before following the entire normal registration procedure at UL. The institution to which you must apply is the DAAS
The registration steps in establishments are the same for new high school graduates and students with a foreign diploma who wish to register at UL. The only variations are found in the documents required to constitute the files and in the institutions where the registration procedures must be carried out. Find the details below
Go through the Certification Division of the Directorate of Academic Affairs and Education (DAAS).
Creation of the approval and accreditation file:
1 . Typed letter clearly stating
The main diploma presented
The location where the training is provided
Registration requested at the University of Lomé
Contact details of the requester
2- Curriculum Vitae showing the applicant’s detailed educational background, with precise names of the diplomas obtained from the BAC in relation to the registration requested.
3. Originals and legalized copies
Diplomas or certificates obtained from the BAC or (equivalent ) WAEC (with transcript of academic work + BECE: Basic education certificate examination + testimonial)
Transcripts from EU or subjects from the BAC
4. Detailed contents of the teaching of the UEs or subjects for the diplomas obtained, specifying for each UE, its quality and its grade
5. For holders of masters, DEA, DES, or engineering diplomas. Cover page of the supported thesis, duly signed by the main person responsible for the issuing establishment
6. Equivalence request form (duly completed to be collected from the DAAS counters)
7. Payment receipt of 3000 F CFA at the DAAS cash register
Submission of the file at counter No. 6 of the DAAS
NB: the originals will be returned to the applicant upon verification at the counter
Obtain the Registration Authorization signed by the Director of DAAS.
After obtaining the Registration Authorization signed by the Director of DAAS, follow the registration procedure:
For Grade L, online registration then final registration.
For grades M and D, refer to the press releases from the DAAS for procedures.
NB: Attach to the physical file (final registration) a simple copy of the Registration Authorization signed by the Director of DAAS.
