DGDU

Created on August 24, 2004, The DGDU is a central service of the University of Lomé. Its objective is the daily management of services, in particular buildings, communication routes, electricity, water and telephone.

It has three main missions:

  • to ensure regular inspection of infrastructure and monitoring of energy, water and telephone consumption;
  • to manage the university’s vehicle fleet and garage;
  • to ensure the maintenance of green spaces and the cleanliness of the university grounds.

Service organization

The DGDU is headed by a Director, assisted by a deputy director. It has six (6) technical divisions.

  • The Domain Surveillance Division (DSD),
  • The maintenance division (DM),
  • The Sanitation and Environment Division (DAE)
  • The monitoring and control division (DSC)
  • The vehicle fleet division (PA),
  • The UL Standard Division (the UL Central Standard)
